Maquoketa Valley Dollars for Scholars

Maquoketa Valley Dollars for Scholars’ mission is to assist local youth in continuing their education and training beyond high school. We are continually searching for ways to assist our students in the unending increase of post-secondary expenses. Each year, we rely on past and future donors’ financial support as we strive to give all local students the opportunity to continue their education.

The Maquoketa Valley community has a strong reputation of supporting its students. We continue to be humbled by the generosity of area businesses, community groups, alumni, families, and individuals in supporting the goals of MVDFS. Since 2001, we have awarded $1,662,309 in scholarships to 1108 graduates to help them in their post-secondary education and training. That success is entirely due to the generosity of supporters in our community!

Contributions to Maquoketa Valley Dollars for Scholars are accepted in any amount. We believe each gift — no matter how large or small — can make a difference for a local student. Many of the scholarships we award are funded by combining these generous donations. We hope that you will join us in our mission of supporting the education of future generations!
